The art of photography is an accomplished passion of mine. It all began when I was eight years old. My parents gave me an old Browning camera for Christmas. I immediately began to use it. I had it with me every day. Understand my mother was the premier ballerina for the Kansas City Ballet company, my father danced with the company as well. So one day they needed a photograph of the two of them that was to be in the newspaper in Kansas City, for an upcoming performance that was to be Swan Lake. Sure enough the photo was excepted and was in the papers next edition. From there it was love of the art. I continued to win some photo contests through the years and then at Waterloo University in Canada where I studied. Photography was my major. Also a member of the Colorado Press Association with many published news story photo's and more recently I have had the honor of having some of my work with the Business Art Institute of Manitou Springs. In 2002, they put on an art tour that went all over the state of Colorado that included two of my pieces. They chose 60 entries out of 750 to be in the tour. With two of the judges being National Geographic photographers this to me was a great honor. I have also been pursuing the world of photo journalism. Working for two newspapers in Colorado as well as a national magazine (American Quarter Horse Association). Within the last few years, other than weddings and portraits, I have been involved in shooting appropriate subjects for book covers for authors as well as CD covers for musical artists, Also, I have been involved with documenting on film the lavish works of a sculptor known as D. Edward. Where I invented and copyrighted the method of Monumentography, (the digital rendering of monumental works). I recently have been commissioned to photograph the wilds of South Africa as well. The CEO of Big Dipper Studios (an animation company), hired me to photograph all types of wild animals in Africa for an upcoming animated movie. So understand that my passion is an on going adventure. My adventure includes the photography of unique photo sessions such as yours. Thank You, C.R. Chambers
